The process in making these beautiful pieces of work is very simple first you make up your mix according to the recipe, which is found on the side of the bag. We would like to suggest the following recipes in order to help you with your project.
The recipe for a lightweight concrete is as follows:
Use a bucket to mix all the dry ingredients together in one then in a second bucket add ¾ of your water while slowly mixing in your dry ingredients until you have a workable consistency continue mixing in your water until your mixture looks like a brownie mix. Since you are doing sculptures from your statute mold, we suggest that you use a colorant to enhance the beauty of the statute. You may also use a special paint created for the concrete mixture to paint when the sculpture is dry. You should paint both sides of the statute to prevent moisture from collecting causing your sculpture to flake and break. A colorant used should be placed in the mixture so when it dries the statute is already colored. In order to make the concrete look darker you only need to add more of the colorant mixture to your sculpture. You find that with the statute molds you may make hundreds of sculptures as long as you properly clean the statute mold after each use.
